Ed Guerrette has been immersed in the art of woodworking since the early age of eight, when he built a whimsical set of bookends to house his adventure stories. Since then he has worked with wood for nearly 50 years gaining experience, developing talent, skill, and a burning passion to create beautiful artistic furniture, kitchen cabinetry, historical restorations, and nearly anything the mind can imagine in wood.
In 1995, this strong spirit and ambition drove Ed to open his own shop Guerrette Lumber & Millwork in the little town Moravia in the Finger Lakes Region of New York, to advance his skill set and deliver quality, hand crafted, unique, custom-made products that anyone can enjoy. At Guerrette Lumber & Millwork the creation is a well-balanced synthesis of both the customer and Ed’s appreciation of art, design, and love of wood. We are in business to provide stunning, elegant work that will last for generations to come.
